Banning Cantarini

Hello! I’m Banning! I’ve been privileged to be a part of SonRise Christian Fellowship
for 20 years, and it’s truly been a blessing to serve the Fallbrook area. I’m passionate
about teaching, building community, and helping both the people and the church
become who God has called them to be. My heart is for strengthening families,
deepening faith, and creating spaces where people can grow together in Christ.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Theology from Vanguard University and my Master of
Divinity from Fuller Seminary. While those years of study shaped my passion for
ministry, nothing compares to seeing God work in real-life relationships and everyday
moments.

Outside of church, you’ll likely find me adventuring with my amazing wife, Brittany, and
our incredible daughter, Blythe. Whether it’s fishing, playing music, or obsessing over
our beloved sports teams (Go Padres!!!), the Cantarinis love to enjoy life and make
memories together!

Favorite Verse: 1 Samuel 16:7: "The Lord does not look at the things people look
at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."
